Filled with clownfish, cocktails and conversation, the California
Academy of Sciences opens its doors to the happy hour crowd on the
third Thursday of every month. Visit the aquarium and exhibits while
listening to DJ Tomas Diablo (Strangelove, Rock This Town) and
enjoying a cash bar. The Academy will be decorated for Halloween,
and the music will feature spooky classics.
Guests can also expect to see live animals and even meet one or two
up close and personal. Kodak moments may include a snapshot with an
alligator, snapping turtle or a beautiful pine snake. This month,
make sure to visit with some of the more ghastly creatures:
tarantulas, piranhas, eels, sharks, snakes, lizards, and bugs!
