[SFG-A] Shadowplay 4/20: Five Year Anniversary, with DJs Donimo and Candy

This Friday, 4/20, Shadowplay celebrates its fifth anniversary! Five years ago, Shadowplay started at 26 Mix, mixing new danceable indie with classic post-punk and new wave. Three and a half years ago, Shadowplay morphed into Vanguard, the electro/discopunk/no wave club at Lit, while the Shadowplay name was continued by the Shadowplay Stage at SF Pride (now in its fifth year). Finally, in early 2005, Shadowplay opened at the Stud.

Throughout, we've prided ourselves on playing the best new music long before it is heard elsewhere, mixed with old favorites. This Friday, DJ Donimo (Shadowplay, Lucky Pierre, Substance) and guest DJ Candy (Decade) will spin the best of Shadowplay's last 5 years, along with the latest indie/electro tracks.

Plus go go dancers Ben and Annie, and the Stud's cheap, stiff drinks to
keep you dancing.
