[SFG-A] FOLSOM EVE BALL - Logistics (Parking, ATMs, ...)

Folks, we're looking forward to an extremely hot and sexy Folsom Eve 
with y'all!  Attendance is already looking pretty darned good from our 
perspective and it's obvious that a lot of you out there share our 
excitement.

To make your night just that much more enjoyable, we've compiled a short 
list of topics you should bone up on before tomorrow evening to make 
your time flow smoothly.  Here they are!

Parking

The Porn Palace is roughly half a block from the corner of Fifth Street 
and Mission Street in downtown San Francisco near Moscone Center and the 
San Francisco Centre.  The best place to park, only a half a block away, 
is the 24-hour Fifth and Mission Garage 
(http://www.fifthandmission.com/home.htm).  Mission as it heads toward 
Sixth Street gets scuzzier, while Mission heading toward Fifth is more 
downtown.  If for some reason you can't or won't park in the garage, 
your best bet is going south a block or two to Howard or Folsom.

Public Transportation

The Porn Palace is roughly a block and a half from Powell Street Station 
(Muni & BART) in downtown San Francisco.  Your walk from the station is 
through nothing but thoroughly public areas.  Keep your eyes peeled for 
the entrance, just past Mint Alley (and the Old Mint), at 492 Mission 
Street.  The area past the venue on Mission heading toward Sixth gets 
progressively seedier.  You'll know when you've gone too far.

Cash

There is no ATM in the venue so you may want to grab cash beforehand.  
You can always get stamped and leave the premises but it's certainly 
much easier, especially if in full fetish garb, to deal with this ahead 
of time.  The closest ATMs are either in or close to the abovementioned 
Fifth and Mission garage.

Coat Check

Yes, there is coat check.  There is a large bathroom with several stalls 
immediately below it where you can change.

Selling Out

While sales have been brisk, it's a pretty large venue. We do expect to 
fill up based on ticket sales so far and there's no predicting how 
things go the night of the event so we do recommend not showing up too 
late but we'd be hard-pressed to fill this place to the rafters.

Casual Clothes

We're serious.  Don't show up in casual streetclothes.  We often turn 
away people who show up *with* people dressed up and expect to get in 
because their fellow guests are hot.  We just don't work that way.  And 
on more than one occasion we've seen such people left at the door by 
their dressed up friends.  Consider yerself forewarned!

Toplessness, Nekkidity, and Naughtiness

Please keep in mind that this is *not* Debaucherama.  Nipples on women 
must be covered.  Mesh tops and pasties *do* count.  Bare genitals are 
not allowed.  And since it's a public venue, the naughtiness can only go 
SO FAR before you'll get a polite reminder from our 
oh-so-polite-but-no-we-really-mean-it security staff.

Okay, that's it!  Believe us when we say that tomorrow night's Folsom 
Eve Ball will be truly the event of the season.  See you there!
