our attention that we, as a nation, have gone soft. Soft as in 
loose-fitting velour yoga outfits, hoodies, and strange, space-age 
running shoes that frankly don't go with anything in our opinion.

Remember the tux? The little black party dress? The martini? Dance 
steps? Witty repartee? The lady killer? The femme fatale?
