This Sunday, July 9th, Little Minsky's hosts a birthday extravaganza for co-producer Miz Margo (aka The Flying Fox) featuring dynamic and eclectic cabaret-punk ensemble The World/Inferno Friendship Society from Brooklyn, New York. Also on the bill, a full line-up of Little Minsky's favourites, Charlotte la Belle Araignée from LA and guest DJ Sage from Dark Sparkle.

Just in case you're new to The World/Inferno Friendship Society - expect fiery arrangements of accordion, multiple sax, dual drummers, rock guitar and vibrant vocalist, Jack Terricloth, delivering poetic diatribes with an aggressively elegant flair. An established East Coast conspiracy of obsessive musicians, World/Inferno recalls early punk energy and cynicism with sophisticated hindsight, dead-on musical precision and a playful irreverence for all things sedentary. And for the next event - Thursday, July 13th, Little Minsky's returns to its regularly scheduled night at Club Deluxe with a rare guest appearance by comedic musical duo The Wet Spots from Toronto, Canada. This charming yet deviant band delivers old-timey tunes with racy and clever modern lyrics - heavy on the innuendo with sweet sincerity and vintage nightclub charisma.
