This Friday, August 18, Shadowplay presents a MSTRKRFT party, with DJs Donimo and Party Ben (Bootie, LIVE 105) spinning the latest indie/electro remixes, plus classic new wave. Shadowplay will feature tracks from the new MSTRKRFT album "The Looks," tracks from just-disbanded sister act Death From Above 1979, and lots of great MSTRKRFT remixes. MSTRKRFT giveaways! Go go dancers Ben and Annie.

This Friday will also be Shari's last night as bartender at The Stud. Having just marked 25 years behind the Stud's bar, Shari is going off the rails on a crazy train, to her new life as an Amtrak hostess. Come by, wish her well, and enjoy SF's strongest cocktails one last time.
