Well, Chris has already pointed out the HoV web page, and I just have
to chime in on the niceness of Mr Voodoo.
HoV has been taking place at Club Hide lately, which is a pretty
decent venue; one large floor downstairs and a smaller floor one step
up with more industrial type music normally, as well as a nice lush
patio for those of us who can't kick the cloves >.<
As for the Islay bit, well, you DID mention single malts, so it wasn't
too hard ;D
I remember reading a review of the mentioned Laphroaig a long time
ago, describing the flavor as "a medicine cabinet exploding in a
burned-out peat patch".... The reviewer, unlike me, wasn't too keen,
heheheh!
By the way, I haven't checked out the whiskey menu at Club Hide, I've
been DJing most of the times I've been there, and too much of the good
stuff makes a sloppy set...
Oooh and Fargo!! If it hadn't been for the Cohen brothers I'd probably
not even heard of the place, but I reckon they made a very good
portrait of certain Nordic stereotypes, yaaah! :)
