Was never crazy about Firefly, but I'll try to make
the dinner wherever we end up.  The week of the 16th
should work out fine for me.

I agree the Oakland program is more tempting -
Actually, at the "Special Events" section of the
Oakland Parkway I see
they're doing 3 episodes of Firefly Thu 19th!

If it's tricky getting there by public transportation,
I'll be very
happy to meet up with other Barters outside MacArthur
for instance
(I'll check which Bart is closest if we're going for
this) and split a
