[Ebd-l] Introduction

Hi All,

I just subscribed to this list. I probably don't qualify as goth, but  
I *get* it and respect it. (I've had a lot of "dark" periods in my  
life.) I'm hoping you'll let me come to your dinners if I promise to  
blend in and behave (or misbehave, as required). I recently  
discovered a wonderful Darkwave music station on Live365: In Dark  
Faith Eternal, which motivated me to seek out people who might  
appreciate that kind of music. Also hoping to taste the green fairy  
some night, though I'm really a single malt Scotch drinker. Buffy  
night in El Cerrito sounds great, but I have a conflicting event, so  
I will have to skip it if you go there. Feel free to ask me anything  
about myself. My life's an open book.
